This conference will differ in certain respects to previous conferences. Firstly, in keeping with the congress theme "From the future we draw strength", the lectures and discussions will not focus on the present but on the future. More precisely, the lecturers will be asked to present their topics as if the present is the year 2020. Why? Because in speaking about the future, we unavoidably speak about the present. We will not limit ourselves just with statements of bald facts about the present, because we tend to voice our aspirations, our fears and our assessment of present day situations when discussing the future.
Furthermore, the formulation of all action plans and policies will be concentrated in the so-called “Future workshops”. In this part of the conference program, delegates will meet in groups defined by the country they represent. The groups will be moderated by experts, who will employ certain didactic methods, in search for resolutions and solutions that address and overcome obstacles to effective action of individual Lithuanian Youth Associations (LJS).
Another specific feature of this conference is the professionally prepared educational crash course on organizational strategies.
