The theme of the Congress Youth Camp is Lithuanian Wedding Ceremonies and Traditions.

During the preparations for a Lithuanian wedding, a Lithuanian folkloric ensemble with play, and participants will sing Lithuanian festive songs, while partaking in a wedding banquet with the banquet table overflowing with traditional dishes. But before the wedding can take place, the participants will have to match the couple together, organize an evening party at the bride’s home, a buck's night, assemble the bride’s dowry, learn wedding songs and wedding dances, prepare the wedding banquet complete with traditional foodstuffs, and decorate the reception hall in preparation for the wedding festivities. Local experts will teach all this to the participants.

The youth camp will have its own Internet web site and a computer center. The camp newspaper will be published here, as well articles written for local and other publications.

If the weather becomes hot then we will be able to swim in the numerous lakes located in the area.

During the camp we will visit a number of beautiful local sites. We will travel to regions of "Suvalkija" & "Dzukija" in Lithuania, and in the region once known as Prussia. We will visit World War II notable historical sites such as Hitler's secret hideout in the “Prussian” forest.

Participants will leave for Germany on the evening of 17th of July 2003, and arrive at their destination on the evening of the 18th of July.
